History

Founded in 1956 to serve employees, retirees, and families of General Motors, VacationLand Federal Credit Union has fostered strong partnerships and long-lasting financial relationships with those individuals and their families.


Through the years, we have expanded member eligibility to several other local companies, and now currently serve our members as a community charter, offering better products and services over our banking competitors. In April of 2010 we merged with School Employees Federal Credit Union and added our Norwalk branch to better serve all of our members. The following year, we relocated the office and began the roll-out of our new lobby design incorporating additional technology and safety measures while providing a more personal environment for our members.


Over the past several years, we have been proud to extend our wide range of banking products and services to over 16,000 members and have over $150 million in assets.
