In general, you can visit us on the World Wide Web without disclosing to us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are several areas, however, that will collect certain information about you and we want you to know how we handle that information.
If you visit our website, VacationLand Federal Credit Union collects and stores information on the domain you use to access our website, the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to the site, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to measure the number of visitors to the various pages on our site to better serve our membership.
If you send an email, VacationLand Federal Credit Union collects and stores personally identifying information in order to process your email, form, or application. This information is not sold to any third parties. Due to the volume of email activity, these messages are deleted after they are answered or completed.
If you visit a secure site, such as home banking, you will be asked for personal identification numbers which will give you access to the member only section of our website. This information enables VacationLand Federal Credit Union to regulate entry to the member only portions of our website and to measure member usage. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. A purchase will not increase your chance of winnings.
DATES OF PROMOTION: The E-Statement Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET only September 30, 2010 (the "Sweepstakes" Period"), subject to VLFCU's hours of operations as further outlined under the "How to Enter" section of these official rules.
ELGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents residing in any of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older and have a unique, personal and valid Social Security Number at the time of entry. Only one entry per valid VLFCU account number will be accepted. The entrant must be a VLFCU member in good standing. Employees, board members and committee members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions outside of the United States, and where restricted or prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER:
1.Logon to Its Me 247, online banking.
2.Click on "Preferences".
3.Complete the enrollment for E-Statements.
NOTE: All emails must be valid.
DRAWINGS: There will be one (1) random drawing held for the Grand Prize, conducted by the credit union, whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules, and are final and binding in all respects.
Overall Drawing: On or about October 5, 2010, the Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The potential winner will be notified by telephone or by mail.
PRIZE: One (1) Nintendo® Wii ™Game Console - $199.99
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Potential prize winner consents to Sponsor's use of his or her name, likeness, biographical information, and voice in advertising without additional compensation (TN residents will not be required to sign a publicity release as a condition of winning a prize). Except where prohibited, if a potential Grand Prize winner fails to sign the release form, the potential Grand Prize winner forfeits his or her rights to the prize and another winner will be selected. The Grand Prize winner may be subject to, and is solely responsible for, any federal, state, or local taxes. In the event it is deemed during the verification process that the potential Grand Prize winner does not have a unique, personal or valid Social Security Number for Sponsor to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the prize, potential Grand Prize winner will be disqualified and another winner selected. Valid Social Security Number will be determined by IRS requirements. Grand Prize must be claimed by close of business on November 30, 2010 or another winner will be selected.
SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants and their participating entities agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable, illegible or incomplete entries, whether due to system errors or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failure of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants, Sponsor, or Sweepstake Entities. If for any reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or the Sweepstakes Administrator which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date. CU*Overdrive Drawing - Official Contest Rules
1. This contest is open to members of a participating credit union who are 18 years or older and legal residents of the United States at time of entry. Employees of CU*Answers and employees of CU*Answers credit unions and their immediate family members are not eligible.
2. Eligible members of participating credit unions may enter the contest by enrolling for E-Statements through It's Me 247 online banking by clicking on "Preferences" and completing the enrollment for E-Statements.
3. All entries received from August 1, to September 30, 2010, will qualify and be entered into the drawing. All entries become the property of the credit union, will not be returned, and are subject to verification. Limit one entry per member account.
4. The winner will be selected by a random drawing to be held on or about October 4, 2010 from qualified entries received. The drawing will be held at CU*Answers at 6000 28 St SE, in Grand Rapids, MI, by CU*Answers staff members. The winner will be notified by email, mail or by telephone. The number of qualified entries will determine the odds of winning. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond in 45 days, the winner will be disqualified and a substitute winner will be randomly selected fro the remaining entries.
5. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one Nintendo Wii Game Console (retail value $199.99). The Grand Prize is provided by CU*Answers . No substitution or transfer of prizes will be allowed. CU*Answers reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. The Grand Prize will be provided directly to the winning member's credit union for delivery to the winner. CU*Answers assumes no responsibility in relation to these prizes.
7. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the prize and the awarding of the prize to another individual.
8. All decisions of CU*Answers in applying these contest rules will be final.
