Founded in 1956 to serve employees, retirees, and families of General Motors, VacationLand Federal Credit Union has fostered strong partnerships and long-lasting financial relationships with those individuals and their families.
Through the years, we expanded membership eligibility to several other local companies, and now serve our members under a community charter, offering products and services comparable to our banking competitors.
In April of 2010, we merged with School Employees Federal Credit Union and added the Norwalk branch to better serve all of our members. We furthered expanded our services by opening the Huron branch in April of 2015, bringing our total to five full-service branches.
Over the past several years, we have been proud to extend our wide range of banking products and services to over 19,000 members and to grow our assets to $223 million.
