Pursuing a higher education? The VacationLand FCU Scholarship recognizes and honors student members based upon leadership and citizenship, without regard to financial need.
In 2022, VLFCU will award six $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. To qualify, the applicant must be a senior in high school and plan to participate in post-secondary studies, including professional, vocational and academic studies that are not limited to colleges and universities. Applicants must be a current primary account holder of a regular or custodial account at VLFCU and must be a member for a minimum of one year prior to the application deadline.
The 2022 Scholarship is based on the following criteria:
- Leadership qualities
- Involvement in school
- Involvement in the community
- Essay
Completed applications must be submitted in person and/or postmarked by March 1, 2022. Mailed applications should be addressed to:

An impartial Scholarship Selection Committee will review the applications and evaluate the applicants’ leadership qualities, involvement in school and community activities, and essay response.
Winners and their school guidance offices will be notified in early May.
