The Stuff the Bus Committee of Erie County, in partnership with all Erie County Local School Districts, is collaborating to collect and distribute school supplies for the 2021/2022 school year. It is our goal this fall to assist as many students as possible whose families may be financially burdened by the cost of school supplies. New this year, we are expanding the program to students in grades K-8.
Backpacks for K-5 students will be filled with the most essential supplies including:
- Pencils
- Crayons
- Markers
- Glue sticks
- Bottled glue
- Pocket folders
- Wide-ruled paper
- Scissors
- Pink erasers
- Rulers
- Pencil box
Backpacks for students in grades 6-8 will be filled with the following supplies:
- Pencils
- Colored Pencils
- Pens (red and blue or black)
- Markers
- Highlighters
- Glue sticks
- Wide or college ruled loose leaf paper
- Spiral bound paper or composition book
- Pencil pouch
- Pocket folders
- Scissors
- 1.5″ three-ring binder
Additional supplies will remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian. The Stuff the Bus Committee will do all that we can to fulfill as many requests as possible, but will be limited by the number of donations received from the community.
