Even in this digital world in which we live, human contact is still crucial to a quality customer experience. Most folks prefer a talking to a human being instead of an ongoing recording telling them to select a number to deal with their problem.
Solving customer service issues and giving sound advice over the phone is one aspect of VacationLand Federal Credit Union that remains in place. But last month, a large portion of our face-to-face interaction suddenly came to an abrupt halt. In a matter of days, we had to adapt to Governor DeWine’s Stay at Home Order.
Our branch lobbies were closed, and appointments were made with members who needed to close on a loan, access a safety deposit box, or any other matter which required entrance to our facilities. Drive-thru services were our saving grace. This method of customer service allowed us to continue offering full access to your accounts. Additionally, our ATMs, online and mobile banking, and CU Talk telephone banking have made taking care of your financial affairs an almost seamless experience. While many of our employees are working remotely, we will continue to diligently practice social distancing, sanitation and other health protocols to keep our members, our front-line employees, and our communities safe.
VacationLand Federal Credit Union realizes that some of our members may face financial hardships during this national pandemic. For those of you who need a little help, we have added a Loan Extension Form to our website. We’re offering extensions on loans such as auto, boat, recreational vehicle, motorcycle, and personal loans. You can request up to a two-month extension. Your interest will continue to accrue, and the one or two extended payments will cause your loan to run beyond its original maturity, which may change the total amount and schedule of repayment. All other terms and conditions of the loan will remain unchanged. Please download the loan extension form, complete the information, and mail it to:
