Sponsored by VacationLand Federal Credit Union and EHOVE Career Center
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
Finances 101 is a financial education event for local high school students. It focuses on the following lessons:
- Earning a wage and paying bills
- What it costs to run a household
- How earnings affect buying decisions
- Adult responsibilities
A one hour mandatory training session will be provided for all volunteers the evening before and/or the morning of the event. Volunteers are needed as game guides with groups of 5-6 students per session and as game booth attendants.
We are expecting about 100 students from EHOVE within the hours of 8:30am and 2:45pm on October 26th. A light breakfast and a lunch will be provided by EHOVE the day of the event.
Please complete the form below to register as a volunteer by October 13, 2016 so that we can place the t-shirt order in time. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call Heather Gilchrist at 419-625-9025 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. An email will be sent out by October 14th confirming your training session and any other important details.
On behalf of EHOVE Career Center and VLFCU, we thank you for your participation!
